Following the successful Connection Dance Center project over the past four years, we are now embarking on a new journey:
WANDERUNG is an interdisciplinary project between the mónica garcía vicente DANCE PROJECT and the Bremen music collective The HEADs Ensemble.
It invites young amateur dancers from Hanover to embark on an artistic journey of discovery together with musicians from Bremen – a journey through sound, movement, and memory. The focus is on the motif of walking – as a physical experience, as a symbol of freedom, change, and migration.
WANDERUNG will take place in spring 2026. Weekly rehearsals, workshops, and creative encounters will create a space in which dance and music are interwoven. Participants will gain insights into professional work processes, develop their own material, and actively contribute to the joint performance. The project will conclude with a public performance in which the resulting works will be brought together.

The mónica garcía vicente DANCE PROJECT is looking for young people between the ages of 17 and 27 from Hanover who want to express themselves through dance and become part of the artistic initiative WANDERUNG.
For WANDERUNG 2026, there will be an INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOP with Mónica García Vicente, Davide Sioni, and Loris Zambon, as well as an AUDITION, during which the participants for WANDERUNG 2026 will be selected.
